This is our most comprehensive offering, providing a trusted local presence for the design, care, maintenance, and continued improvement of your home.

Our design team can oversee everything from furniture and artwork to window treatments, lighting, outdoor furnishings, and the everyday items that keep your home beautiful, comfortable, and ready for you or your guests.

We also coordinate the functional side of your property, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, hurricane preparation, inspections, repairs, contractors, and ongoing improvements. From arranging a furniture delivery to coordinating a specialized trade, we manage the details and follow through to ensure the work is completed properly.

As your local representative, Melissa Daniels Designs can provide the continuity and peace of mind that is difficult to achieve from hundreds—or thousands—of miles away. We know your home, understand your preferences, and become a trusted point of contact for the people and services caring for your property.

Melissa Daniels Designs conducts a comprehensive evaluation of your home, looking at the elements that shape the way it looks, feels, and functions including furniture, artwork, color scheme, space planning, bedding, décor, lighting, outdoor spaces, curb appeal, and the overall guest experience.

Rather than overwhelming you with a long list of ideas, we prioritize. You will receive a thoughtfully organized plan that identifies:

The updates that can be addressed over time as your budget and priorities allow.

Increase Your Profit is a strategic design and marketing package created specifically for vacation rental owners who want their property to work harder for them. We begin with a comprehensive Rental Design Audit. Melissa Daniels personally walks through your property with one goal in mind: identifying where thoughtful investment can make the greatest difference to your rental performance.

We evaluate:

What photographs poorly or fails to stand out online
What looks dated, inexpensive, or inconsistent
Where guests may become frustrated or leave negative reviews
What needs to be repaired, replaced, or upgraded
What will make your property more memorable
How the home functions from a guest's perspective
Where your money will have the greatest impact

We also discuss your concerns, goals, and challenges. We review your property's existing online reviews to identify patterns, complaints, and opportunities that may otherwise be overlooked. Then we create The Plan.

We identify exactly what should be purchased, replaced, refreshed, or redesigned, and where your investment is most likely to improve the guest experience and the property's overall presentation. Once the work is complete, we bring in an experienced professional photographer to capture the property at its absolute best.

Your new photography, refreshed spaces, and updated listing presentation can then be used across Airbnb, VRBO, and other rental platforms to reposition your property and tell a stronger story to potential guests. We create a vacation rental that photographs better, feels better, earns better reviews, and is positioned to command a stronger nightly rate.

Increase Your Profit packages start at $2,000. A minimum $5,000 investment in furnishings, décor, household items, and property improvements is required so that we have the resources necessary to create a meaningful transformation.

Home Arrival is our ultimate pre-arrival service for homeowners whose Virgin Islands residence has been unoccupied for weeks or months—or simply for those who want every detail handled before they arrive.

Melissa Daniels personally oversees the preparation of your home so it feels welcoming, immaculate, comfortable, and completely ready for you.

Before your arrival, we can coordinate:

AC turned on and the home brought to a comfortable temperature
A thorough visual inspection of the property
Fresh linens and towels throughout the home
Pantry and refrigerator stocked with your requested essentials
Fresh flowers arranged in the home
Outdoor furniture cleaned and refreshed
Pool checked and ready for use
Necessary vendors contacted if something requires attention
Dinner reservations and other arrangements made
Special requests prepared in advance
And, of course, the champagne is on ice.
